Bridger Ehli

Wednesday, September 17, 2025

Please join me in congratulating Bridger Ehli, assistant professor of philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences, on receiving the Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdocs from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.

Professor Ehli, whose research centers on the intersection of the philosophy of mind and epistemology in the early modern period, will teach at the Institut für Philosophie at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin during his six-month fellowship, which begins in June.

This prestigious award will enable Professor Ehli, who has already made impressive contributions to the field of philosophy, to advance his innovative research project on sense and skepticism in the philosophy of David Hume and deepen our understanding of Hume’s view of human cognition and its limits.

Congratulations, Professor Ehli!
