Distinguished Professor is IU’s most prestigious university-wide academic title, celebrating our most exceptional faculty in the areas of research and creative activity. This year’s recipients at IU Bloomington represent a broad range of disciplines—education, music, psychology, biology, and physics—and are a true source of pride for our campus.
In a recent announcement from University Honors and Awards, IU President Pamela Whitten praises this year’s recipients, saying, “Their teaching, scholarship, and leadership have transformed students’ lives and earned the respect of peers around the world. We congratulate and thank them for advancing IU’s mission of discovery, creativity and service.”
Congratulations, Professors Bonk, Goldberg, Hohmann, Lennon, and Ortiz!
