As part of the arrival process, all international undergraduate and graduate students are required by Indiana law to take a tuberculosis (TB) test with the Student Health Center. The online scheduler is open now, and we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible so you can complete your required testing on time.
International students can schedule their TB test appointment via Health Center scheduling app and choosing the following after logging in with their IU credentials:
Facility: Immunization / Travel Clinic
Visit Reason: TB/Vaccine Clinic International Students
You will need your IU International Insurance card to make an appointment with the IU Health Center. If you have already enrolled in classes at IU, you will be able to access your insurance cards through Anthem’s website starting August 1. Create your Anthem account to look up your Anthem ID card. Make sure to enter your name and date of birth exactly as it is displayed on your passport.
You can read more about mandatory TB testing and immunization compliance. If you have additional questions about scheduling, please contact the Student Health Center at 812-855-4011.
Please do not bring TB documentation from outside of the United States; it will not be accepted.
If you have had a TB test done elsewhere in the United States, submit the information in the Immunization Compliance form in One.IU.
