Parking on campus

Admissions visitor parking

If you are attending a visit program hosted by the Office of Admissions, please follow these parking directions.

For any parking location, please allow 30 minutes to park, travel to the event location, and complete check in before your scheduled visit begins.If you have questions regarding parking accessibility, please call our office at 812-855-0661 or email iuadmit6@iu.edu.

If you are visiting through July 31:

Please park in Poplars Garage at 415 E. Sixth Street (located on Sixth Street, between Grant Street and Dunn Street). To park in Poplars Garage, you will need to register your vehicle at least two business days prior to the event—instructions on how to register your vehicle will be included in your confirmation email.

If you are visiting on or after August 1:

Please park in either of these locations:

Parking validation for Forrest Avenue Garage and Fee Lane Garage will be available at check-in for your scheduled visit event. 

Traveling to Bloomington

Flying

Most visitors fly into and out of Indianapolis International Airport. You can rent a car or take a shuttle to Bloomington.

Shuttles and private cars

Campus resources

To ensure the comfort of all guests of the Office of Admissions, household pets are not permitted to participate in any portion of the campus visit. This includes the information session, campus tour, and any activities within residence halls. Service animals are welcome.
